11 Apr GAHBA Membership Drive Starts Tomorrow
On Tuesday, April 12, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) will kick off a two-week long membership drive, and all current members are encouraged to get involved! This friendly competition benefits the local industry greatly through strengthening the association and increasing membership.
The drive will officially take place between 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28. During this time, participating members will receive 2 points for each new member recruited, 1.5 points for each May renewal, and 1 point for each April renewal. To receive the points the company that joins or renews must reference you as the individual who recruited them, or you can hand deliver or email the application directly and identify yourself as the recruiter.
The drive will start off with a call-a-thon on April 12 and 13 at the Engel & Volkers North Fulton office (2610 Old Milton Parkway, Suite 110, Alpharetta). Teams will be on site making calls from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday. Any members interested in participating are invited to show up and join a team or make calls from off site if they are not able to attend in person. Call lists of prospective members and members due for renewal will be provided, but recruiters are encouraged to bring their own lists of prospective companies as well. Several prizes are up for grabs for the top recruiters participating in the membership drive. First place (minimum of eight members recruited) will win a cash prize of $750, and second place (minimum of five members recruited) will get $500. For each new member recruited during the drive, participants will be entered into drawings for a Yeti 65-Gallon Tundra cooler donated by Ryan Homes or a Milwaukee M18 Hammer Drill & Impact Driver Kit donated by Milwaukee Tool. In addition, all members who attend the call-a-thon in person at Engel & Volkers on April 12 or 13 will be entered to win a Yeti Hopper cooler provided by Construction Resources.
The GAHBA will celebrate the end of the drive with a New Member Welcome Party/Low Country Boil hosted by the Associates Council. The party will be held on Thursday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. at the GAHBA office and is free for all new members who join during the month of April.
