Jim Chapman installed as Chairman of NAHB Land Development Committee

ATLANTA – Jim Chapman, president of Vinings-based Jim Chapman Communities, has been installed as the Chairman of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Land Development Committee. He was also named as Second Vice Chair of the NAHB Single Family Builder Committee. Both announcements were made last month at the NAHB’s International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.

Chapman, whose company is widely recognized as greater Atlanta’s premier builder of 55+ communities, is a Certified Professional Home Builder. He is deeply committed to the success of the U.S. home building industry and devotes his time to local, regional and national industry organizations. He was named 2018 “55+ Builder of the Year” by the NAHB and served as Chairman of NAHB’s 55+ Housing Industry Council in 2016.

Chapman was elected 2018 President of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and is the Founding Chairman of the ALL Home Program, a voluntary statewide certification created by the Home Builders Association of Georgia to promote accessibility and universal design.
