Available to any individual or organization whose primary business involves building, developing or remodeling single or multi-family dwellings. Annual cost of builder membership is determined by the number of closings from the year prior and starts at $850.
Available to any individual or organization whose primary business provides a service or product to builders, developers and remodelers in the housing industry. Annual cost of associate membership is $850.
Available to any employee of a current GAHBA member company, allowing you personal access to member benefits. Please note: To become an affiliate member, you must be an employee of an already active GAHBA member company.
A variety of special interest council memberships focused on everything from 55+ housing to professional women in building are available to any employee of a current GAHBA member company.
Student chapter membership in the GAHBA are available through the NAHB’s Residential Construction Academy. Student chapters may be located at high schools, vocational and technical schools, colleges and universities to provide students real-world experience with the home building industry. The GAHBA currently sponsors a student chapter at Kennesaw State University.
The GAHBA’s Government Affairs program is hard at work to advance the interests of the home building industry in the Atlanta area. Members and staff regularly meet with local officials to build relationships and educate lawmakers about the needs of builders and how the industry benefits the economy. HomeAid Atlanta is the designated charity of the GAHBA. A local chapter of HomeAid America, HomeAid Atlanta helps build and renovate housing facilities for local service providers in their mission to “build new lives” for homeless families and individuals in the Atlanta area. HomeAid Atlanta also conducts outreach projects throughout the year to help meet the immediate needs of Atlanta’s homeless and the organizations serving them. Learn more here.
