The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) provides the information, text, graphics and links herein as a service to both member and non-member homebuilding industry professionals and housing consumers. Use of this Web site is conditioned on the user’s acceptance of all of the terms and conditions contained in or on the site. Use of the site constitutes the user’s agreement to abide by the following terms and conditions and in accordance with the HBA’s privacy policy.
The information contained within this site represents a best effort to provide extensive, accurate and reliable information. The HBA does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such content. You agree that you will not use the name of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association or the HBA logo in any advertising. HBA members have certain privileges in regard to using the HBA Member Logo and identifying themselves as association members. To obtain the HBA Member Logo and usage instructions, members should contact the HBA by e-mailing ttouchstone@atlantahba.com or calling 770-938-9900. The HBA Member Logo and usage instructions are not provided on the HBA Web site.
You agree to provide true and correct information about yourself.
You agree not to use any service or content provided by the HBA for illegal purposes or for the transmission of material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, tortuous, improper or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes or may infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of another.
You agree not to use any service or content provided by the HBA for the transmission of junk mail, spam, chain letters or unsolicited mass distribution of e-mail, faxes, telephone calls and/or postal mail.
You agree not to use any service or content provided by the HBA for promotion of commercial products and services or for solicitation of any kind.
Information and content received from the HBA Web site may be displayed and printed for your personal, informational, non-commercial use only. You have no rights whatsoever to and you agree not to reproduce, retransmit, repost, distribute, sell, publish, broadcast, create derivative works from, perform or in any way commercially exploit any of the content or infringe upon trademarks, service marks or copyrights displayed or received from the HBA, including but not limited to others in the same company or organization, without the HBA’s express prior written consent.
You have no rights whatsoever to the proprietary software and related documentation, or any enhancements or modifications thereto, provided to you to access the HBA Web site. The HBA Web site contains links to other Internet sites, resources and HBA member companies. The HBA is not responsible for the availability of these outside resources or their contents. It is the intent of the HBA to raise awareness of the homebuilding industry and be an informational resource to both HBA members and the home buying public. Use of information from this Web site is voluntary and should be used in conjunction with specific expert advice and professional assistance.
The HBA is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. Information about members of the HBA, including e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and other information stored in the HBA member database is solely the property of the HBA and subject to the HBA’s Terms of Use.

The HBA collects certain personal information from our members and non-members to process class and event registrations, purchases and to ensure that HBA records are accurate and kept current. This information includes:

- Telephone number
- Fax number
- Membership status and type
- Credit card information (if class and event registrations and purchases are made)
You are never required to provide us with any personal information when you visit our Web site. If you decide to provide personal information, we will retain that information only until we have responded to your question, provided you with requested information/materials, registered you for a class or event or otherwise satisfied the purpose of the communication.
The HBA does not knowingly collect information from anyone under age 18 and does not provide any content or service that would be of interest for or use to minors. The HBA encrypts sensitive personal and financial data while being stored on the Internet. Credit card information is transmitted securely using SSL encryption. Although our site has industry standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information that is under our control, we cannot guarantee complete security.
If at any time a visitor feels uncomfortable submitting personal contact information or financial information to the HBA via our Web site, the visitor is encouraged to contact the HBA for alternate means of information transmission.
The HBA retains personal information regarding members indefinitely and retains personal customer data provided as dictated by business and legal requirements. This information is not stored on the HBA Web site.
The HBA retains the right to make member company contact information available to responsible third parties for use. If you do not wish to have your company contact information made available to third parties, please notify the HBA by e-mailing ttouchstone@atlantahba.com or calling 770-938-9900.
The HBA never makes public the personal/home contact information of members.
The HBA Web site contains links to other Web sites. If you choose to use any of these links, you will be leaving the HBA’s site and going to a new one. Protection of your privacy at these linked sites will be governed by the privacy policy at that site. The HBA is not responsible for the privacy practices of such sites or the use of any information that you provide to such sites.
