Determining how much is enough
Many businesses today simply operate under the premise of more is better or “scaling” the business. Does that work? Frequently not! Discover for yourself and your business how much is enough by starting with the end in mind. How much do I want and why? Then, customize your business plan to reach that goal. Otherwise, you may reach up and touch the ground finding you’re living life upside down!
Session facilitator Mark Whitmire has spent the last 30 years as the Principal of various companies engaged in Land Investment, Commercial and Residential Development, Home Building and Real Estate Brokerage. His experience in the industry began 40 years ago. His primary focus was in the financial, operational and strategic execution of business plans. Mark’s involvement, participation and experience in the Industry proved particularly useful to many individuals outside of his companies during “The Great Recession” as he was able to assist and counsel struggling businesses to find the opportunities for survival and success. Beyond the Real Estate industry, Mark has been active sharing his talents and gifts in many ways. He served as a Member of the Board of Directors for an Orphanage and Senior Center for 3 years, Executive Mentor for 20 years, Musician in various churches and bands for most of his life and currently serves as Treasurer of The Galloway School Parents Association and Co-Chair of Development for The Galloway School. Mark is married to Ladan and they have a son Thomas (Class of 2026 The Galloway School). Mark believes in life-long learning, loves traveling and playing/hearing music. And lastly, a slight alteration of a Benjamin Franklin quote: Don’t put off until tomorrow what you should have done yesterday!
