ADVOCACY
The GAHBA’s Government Affairs program is hard at work to advance the interests of the home building industry in the Atlanta area. Members and staff regularly meet with local officials to build relationships and educate lawmakers about the needs of builders and how the industry benefits the economy. Donations raised for the Builder Political Action Committee (BPAC) and the Building Together Political Action Committee (BTPAC) help support political candidates and causes that will further advance builder interests in our area. COMMUNITY SERVICE
HomeAid Atlanta is the designated charity of the GAHBA. A local chapter of HomeAid America, HomeAid Atlanta helps build and renovate housing facilities for local service providers in their mission to “build new lives” for homeless families and individuals in the Atlanta area. HomeAid Atlanta also conducts outreach projects throughout the year to help meet the immediate needs of Atlanta’s homeless and the organizations serving them. Learn more here.
