2025 GAHBA Boys and Girls Club Program Sessions 2 and 3

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association continued our 2025 Boys and Girls Club Program with a session about concrete foundations with Doug Herbert, Owner of Herbert Construction.

The students got great hands-on experience and learned how to tie rebar to strengthen the foundation of a home.

We would like to thank Doug for leading this session with the students. 

Following the concrete foundations session, the students got to take a field trip to Home Depot's Tilly Mill location in Norcross.

While there, the students learned about power tools and got to practice drilling and driving with a demonstration from Milwaukee Tool! 

Following the demonstration, the students heard from representatives from Home Depot with a brief tour of the store.
