GAHBA Young Professionals Group Hosts Career Day at Brand Vaughan Lumber in Tucker

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association's Young Professionals Group hosted its fourth annual Residential Construction Career Day at Brand Vaughan Lumber in Tucker, GA.

We hosted about 200 high students from six different high schools, 30+ total HBA companies, 50+ technical college students, and many wonderful volunteers who helped make it all possible! 

Students had the opportunity to speak with our member companies about job opportunities in residential construction, participate in mock interviews and resume building, and see a workforce development presentation from members of our Workforce Development Committee!

We would like to give a huge thank you to Brand Vaughan Lumber for hosting us at their facility in Tucker as well as Boise Cascade for providing the students with some wonderful food. We could not have had such a great event without their time, energy, and resources.
